What it's like to sail on

Dennis Conner's Americas Cup training boats were built for speed and excitement. 
They feature 2 steering wheels and a wide cockpit
where everyone can sit and enjoy the speed and performance.

The boat will be skippered by a USCG-licensed captain. 
He or she will be assisted by one or two crew.

This can be an interactive experience if you like. 
The captain and crew are always looking for volunteers
to help trim the sheets and grind the winches! 
It's great to sail in the harbor.  It's even greater to be trim the sheets
and be a part of the team making the boat go fast!

Or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. 
There is plenty of free area in the back of the boat behind the skipper
where you can sit and soak in the sun, the sea breeze and this unique harbor experience.

This is an ideal thing to do by yourself or with family and friends. 
Everyone will have a great time and the sails are nice and sweet.

When the sailing conditions are right, you will be able to cover lots of ground. 
There are so many harbor sights to see. 
These include the Statue of Liberty, Ellis and Governors Island and the breath taking skyline of Manhattan!
